5-Days Egypt Tour: Cairo- Luxor- Aswan links three centres of Egyptian history in a compact private journey. Begin in Cairo with the Giza pyramids, the Great Sphinx and the Egyptian Museum, accompanied by an Egyptologist who can adapt the explanations and pace to your party.
A separately booked domestic flight takes you south to Luxor, where the east-bank temples and west-bank royal tombs reveal the scale of the New Kingdom capital. Continue about 3.5 hours by private road to Aswan for the High Dam, the ancient granite quarry and Philae Temple. The route preserves a full sightseeing day in Cairo and dedicated time on both banks of Luxor before the final Aswan visit.
The price covers your Egyptologist guide, private transfers and every sight in the itinerary — flights and hotels are booked separately so you choose your own standard. Entrance tickets are also paid separately, as listed in the exclusions. Arrive at Cairo International Airport, where a representative meets you in the arrivals area and assists with the arrival process. Continue by private air-conditioned vehicle to your independently chosen Cairo hotel; the drive usually takes 45 to 75 minutes, depending on traffic and the hotel district.
There is no scheduled sightseeing today, so you can settle in and rest after your journey. If your flight lands early, optional activities can be discussed separately without changing the owner’s five-day route. Day 2Cairo Sightseeing: Pyramids & Egyptian Museum
Meet your private Egyptologist guide at about 8:00 am for a full day of Cairo sightseeing. Start on the Giza Plateau, where your guide introduces the pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Menkaure and allows time for the principal viewpoints. Continue to the Great Sphinx and discuss its place within the funerary complex.
In the afternoon, drive into central Cairo for the Egyptian Museum, spending roughly two hours among its pharaonic collections. Entrance tickets and meals are paid separately, so your guide can suggest a lunch stop that fits your timing. Return by private vehicle in the late afternoon. Day 3Fly to Luxor / Luxor East Bank Tour
Transfer to Cairo Airport for the morning flight to Luxor (flight not included — we book it for you on request). Allow about one hour for the flight, plus airport check-in and baggage time. On arrival, meet your guide and private driver, then continue directly to the east bank.
Explore the Karnak Temple Complex over roughly two hours, following its monumental pylons, courts and Great Hypostyle Hall. Continue to Luxor Temple, where your guide explains its royal statues and connection to Karnak along the Avenue of Sphinxes. After the visit, transfer to your independently booked hotel. Day 4Luxor West Bank / Drive to Aswan
Leave after an independently arranged breakfast for Luxor’s west bank. Enter the Valley of the Kings, where the standard ticket covers three open tombs, then continue to the terraced Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Finish with a short stop at the Colossi of Memnon, the seated remains of Amenhotep III’s mortuary complex.
The guided circuit takes about four hours. In the afternoon, travel south to Aswan by private air-conditioned vehicle, a road journey of about 3.5 hours plus any comfort stop. On arrival, your driver takes you to your independently selected hotel for check-in. Overnight at your hotel in Aswan (hotel not included; we can book a 4-star or 5-star hotel for you).
Day 5Aswan Sightseeing & Departure
Meet your guide for a private morning tour lasting about four hours. Begin at the High Dam for views over Lake Nasser and an explanation of the modern Nile project. Continue to the granite quarry to inspect the Unfinished Obelisk and the traces of ancient cutting methods.
Travel by motorboat to Agilkia Island for Philae Temple, exploring the sanctuary of Isis and its rescued reliefs before returning to the mainland. After the tour, transfer to Aswan Airport for your flight to Cairo or onward destination (flight not included — we book it for you on request). The program ends at the airport, with no overnight arranged.
