Day 1Arrival in Cairo
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, meet your representative for assistance through passport control and luggage claim. Transfer by private air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel in Cairo, taking about 45 to 60 minutes depending on traffic.
Check into your room and spend the rest of the day relaxing or taking an independent stroll around the neighborhood. Your private Egyptologist guide will contact you in the evening to confirm tomorrow’s pickup time. Overnight at your hotel in Cairo (hotel not included; 4-star or 5-star options can be booked on request).
Day 2Pyramids, Sphinx & Egyptian Museum
Meet your guide after breakfast to begin a full day of sightseeing. Drive about 45 minutes to the Giza Plateau, where you will explore the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, followed by the nearby Great Sphinx and Valley Temple during a three-hour tour.
After lunch at a local restaurant (own expense), drive to central Cairo to visit the Egyptian Museum. Spend two hours viewing its extensive collection of pharaonic statues, mummies, and ancient artifacts before returning to your hotel in the late afternoon. Overnight at your hotel in Cairo (hotel not included; 4-star or 5-star options can be booked on request).
Day 3Flight to Luxor & Cruise Embarkation
Transfer to Cairo Airport for the morning flight to Luxor (flight not included — we can book it for you on request). Upon arrival in Luxor, your representative will meet you and escort you to the cruise ship for embarkation before lunch, around 11:30 am.
In the afternoon, set out with your private Egyptologist guide to explore the East Bank. Spend about two hours at the monumental Karnak Temple Complex, then continue to Luxor Temple to view its ancient pylons and courtyard illuminated at dusk. Return to the ship. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4Luxor West Bank & Sailing to Edfu
Cross to Luxor’s West Bank after breakfast for a private four-hour tour. Begin at the Valley of the Kings, entering three open pharaonic tombs with your guide. Continue to the terraced Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari and pause for photos at the massive Colossi of Memnon statues.
Return to the cruise ship for lunch as the vessel begins sailing south toward Edfu. Enjoy the afternoon on the sundeck watching rural life along the Nile banks. The ship passes through the Esna lock during the afternoon or evening. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5Edfu & Kom Ombo Temples
Go ashore after breakfast in Edfu to visit the Temple of Horus, one of Egypt’s most complete ancient structures. Allow about 90 minutes to tour its grand pylon, court, and sanctuary with your guide before returning to the ship.
Sail south for about three hours to Kom Ombo. Walk from the landing dock to the hilltop Kom Ombo Temple, a dual sanctuary dedicated to Sobek and Haroeris. Explore the temple ruins and the adjacent crocodile museum for about an hour. Rejoin the cruise and sail toward Aswan. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6Aswan Sightseeing
Disembark after breakfast for a private four-hour tour of Aswan. Visit the High Dam to learn about modern engineering on the Nile, then tour the northern granite quarry to inspect the massive Unfinished Obelisk.
Board a motorboat to Agilkia Island to visit the Temple of Philae, dedicated to Isis, exploring its colonnades and halls with your guide. Return to the ship for lunch and a free afternoon. An optional evening Sound and Light Show at Philae is available at extra charge. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7Disembarkation & Flight to Cairo
Enjoy breakfast on board before disembarking the cruise ship by 8:00 am. Meet your representative for assistance with your luggage and transfer to Aswan Airport for your flight back to Cairo (flight not included — we can book it for you on request).
The drive to Aswan Airport takes about 30 to 45 minutes from the dock. Upon arrival at Cairo Airport, your tour services end, allowing you to connect to your international flight or continue your stay in Egypt. Today's service ends at Cairo Airport, with no overnight accommodation arranged.

Are flights included?
No. Domestic flights between Cairo, Luxor, and Aswan as well as international airfare are not included in the tour price. We can arrange all internal domestic flight tickets for your party upon request.
Is hotel accommodation included?
No. Hotel stays in Cairo are not included in the package price. We can arrange 4-star or 5-star hotel accommodations in Cairo before or after your cruise based on your preferences.
What is included on the cruise?
The cruise price includes four nights in a private cabin on a 5-star Nile cruise ship with full-board dining (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). Shore excursions guided by your private Egyptologist are also included.
Are entrance fees included?
No. Entry tickets to monuments and museums are paid on-site directly by guests. Your guide will assist with ticket purchases and inform you about optional entry tickets for special tombs or exhibits.
Is this a private tour?
Yes. All guided sightseeing and airport transfers are private for your group with your own Egyptologist guide and driver. Only the cruise vessel, dining rooms, and onboard facilities are shared with other passengers.
When is the best time of year for this tour?
The best time to travel is from October through April, when temperatures in Cairo, Luxor, and Aswan are pleasantly mild for outdoor sightseeing. Summer months are hotter, requiring earlier morning tours to avoid midday heat.
